Doodle God is an intelligent and engaging strategy game for WP7.
Already successful on the iPhone (claiming to have more than 15 million players there), this game reminds us of the Civilization series society progress: your scope is to build new items combining 4 basic elements: Fire, Water, Air and Earth. From these you can end up creating more than 100 elements and items (including Vodka!) – but be warned that this require some thinking (and a lot of trial and error)!
At the beginning creating elements is intuitive, but as you go the choices grow and it takes time before getting a new combination; luckily an intelligently timed help system will help you along the way, granting you hours of fun!
The porting from iOS is great: graphic, design and sound are those of a top quality game and you will be engaged by the atmosphere.
So, Doodle God for Windows Phone 7 is not a jumping game; nor is an Xbox Live game (no achievements) but it is engaging, addictive and definitely an app worth your finger taps (go with the trial option first if you prefer).
